2005 Team Awards Winners
back to 2005 Season Review
Matt Campbell - Most Valuable Player
When the Oaks lost Gabe Duran ('04 MVP) and Jimmy Goethals it was clear that leadership would have to come from somewhere else. Matt certainly did exactly that going undefeated for the second year in a row. Matt led the team with seven wins and completed an outstanding six games. 7-0 with a 1.44 ERA will win you awards! Great job Matt.
Sean Scott - Tony Mak Award The Tony Mak Award is given to the player who most exemplifies the style of play that would have made Tony Makjavich proud. Sean was instrumental in the Oaks success this year. His plays at third base, his play on the mound, his play at the plate were stellar. His enthusiasm is legendary in these parts as is his competitiveness. Tony would surely be proud.
